Statement
"Time and Art, how should one face them in one's life and society ?"
Artist review
VAO is an exhibition that includes many artists in many spaces. All the artists involve has different talent. In this occasion I offer my perspective about Khun Sovanrith. He is an artist, who is involved in many social projects educating children through illustrations of Khmer language books for the Ministry of Education, and other organization such as Reyum, Sipar, Room To Read and White Elephant, among others. He had also participated in many exhibitions in Cambodia and outside. In these exhibitions he expressed his personal concerns toward people life issues, vulnerable children, fragile women, society's problem and people's concern. Besides being an artist, he is also an art teacher at Reyum art school. I would like to introduce this new work as different and relevant subject matter for the youth of Cambodia to consider.
